New retirees and those retired with EYT can also benefit from the pension promotion. Retirees can change their bank via e-government without going to a bank branch. Bank transfer can also be carried out via the mobile banking application by following the steps ‘Application – Pension Application – Pension Branch/Bank Change’.




PUBLIC BANKS WERE IN ACTION
Public banks took the first step before the elections. Ziraat Bank, Halkbank and Vakıfbank announced that they increased their retirement promotions up to 12 thousand TL. In this context, the following payments are valid for those who transfer their pension to one of these three public banks: 5 thousand TL for those whose income is up to 10 thousand TL, 8 thousand TL for those whose income is between 10 thousand TL and 15 thousand TL, and 8 thousand TL for those whose income is between 15 thousand TL and 20 thousand TL. Those over 10 thousand TL and 20 thousand TL will receive a promotion of 12 thousand TL. Payments are made every three years. Türkiye İş Bankası also announced that it increased its pension promotions to 12 thousand TL, which is at the same level as public banks.
